Maximizing IDUs through Varied Presentations

If I deliver the same presentation to multiple audiences, can I earn separate IDUs for each time it is presented?

When it comes to delivering presentations and earning Innovation Development Units (IDUs), there's a simple rule to remember: variety counts. If you present the same material to multiple audiences, you can indeed earn separate reaccreditation IDUs for each unique audience you engage with.

Here's how it works:

  • You may receive independent reaccreditation IDUs for every distinct audience you present to, as long as each audience is different from the previous one.

However, it's important to note that there's a cap on the number of IDU credits you can earn from the same presentation. This cap is set at 15 IDUs. So, while you can certainly use a single presentation to earn IDUs, you won't be able to accumulate more than 15 IDUs from that specific presentation, regardless of how many times you deliver it to distinct audiences.

This approach encourages professionals to diversify their speaking engagements and engage with a wide range of audiences. It not only enhances your own learning and networking opportunities but also ensures that GInI's certification standards maintain a fair and balanced framework for all certified individuals.
