Joining GInI's Board of Advisors: Qualifications and Application Process
GInI maintains a deeply-engaged Board of Advisors comprised of leading thought-leaders from around the world. Each of these individuals are selected based on their demonstrated contribution to the practice of innovation and represent a wide diversity of backgrounds and experiences. Their collective wisdom, experience, diversity, and passion help to shape and guide GInI's evolving ideology and methods.
How can I join GInI’s Board of Advisors?
To join GInI’s Board of Advisors, you must first meet the qualifying criteria for being on the Board and, secondly, pass a strict screening interview with GInI’s leadership. Only those who meet the initial criteria are invited for the latter interview.
What are the qualifying criteria for being eligible to join GInI’s Board of Advisors?
The qualifying criteria for being eligible to join GInI’s Board of Advisors are the following:
- You must possess actual real-world experience driving and delivering new innovation into the marketplace – including conceiving, defining, developing, validating, launching, and scaling these new innovations (new products, services, experiences, business models, etc.).
- You must have either: a) consulted globally to established business or government organizations or b) held one or more senior executive roles in such organizations, driving innovation strategically for new growth.
- You must have publicly published content reflecting truly new and novel thought leadership in the field of Innovation (this cannot be reproductions of others’ thoughts and insights, and it cannot be purely academic papers).
- You must be recognized globally for your thought leadership in the field of Innovation. This can be on account of (non-academic) business books you’ve authored, paid keynote speeches you’ve given, global clients you’ve served, and so on (ideally each of these).
- Prior to being invited to interview for GInI’s Board of Advisors, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of each of these criteria.
If you wish to apply for a role on GInI’s Board of Advisors, please submit evidence of your qualifying criteria to giniboa@gini.org. GInI’s leadership will then determine whether or not this qualifies you for a screening interview.
